A successful start to the new academic year at the ILCF

UCLy's Institut de langue et de culture française (ILCF) successfully launched a new academic year on Monday October 9, welcoming 400 international students from all over the world to improve their command of French.

The students were nicely welcomed by the ILCF team at the back-to-school meeting, where they were given a warm welcome to France and an introduction to the academic programs. They were also introduced to the animation department. In addition to classroom courses, the ILCF offers cultural activities, field trips and opportunities to take part in the university's student life.

Alongside their teachers, the new students were also able to discover the campus, and the areas specially dedicated to them, such as La Bulle, a convivial learning room.

The ILCF's successful start to the new academic year demonstrates the vitality of French language learning at UCLy. The 400 students who have passed through the doors of the ILCF are about to experience an enriching academic year, and we wish them all the best in their educational journey at the ILCF.
