A recognised label, a guarantee of quality
The entire ILCF Lyon team is proud to announce that its Qualité FLE label has been renewed for another four years, recognising the quality of its teaching, student support and learning environment.
The Qualité FLE label is an official French quality certification awarded by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Higher Education and Research, and Culture. It recognises French language centres whose teaching, student services and organisation meet the highest national quality standards.
Following the audit carried out in June 2025, the interministerial commission renewed ILCF's certification with the maximum rating of three stars in all five assessment areas: Student Reception, Teaching Staff, Programmes, Facilities and Institute Management.

The center meets the students’ linguistic needs based on the Common European Framework of References for languages (CECRL).
- Qualified teaching staff
Experienced and qualified teachers provide high-quality French language instruction tailored to students' needs.
- Student reception and support
Students benefit from personalised support, cultural activities and accommodation assistance throughout their stay in Lyon.
- Facilities, safety and learning resources
All premises and equipment guarantee ideal conditions of teaching in accordance with the current safety standards.
- Institute management and quality assurance
The institution strategic targets are clearly stated in the school Charter. They guarantee an engagement to promote and maintain the quality and the professional ethics.
This renewed certification reflects ILCF's long-standing commitment to continuous improvement across all its services. It also confirms the institute's place among the leading French language centres recognised by the French government for the quality of their teaching and student support.
The institute is therefore part of this privileged network of FLE centers awarded the Qualité FLE label until 2029.
