Show us your Lyon!

A street you often walk down, a landscape, an atmosphere, a detail that surprised you, a place that has become a landmark or is linked to a memory… Everyone has their own way of discovering and experiencing Lyon.

The competition is open free of charge to current and former ILCF students. Each participant may submit up to two photographs, taken with a camera or a phone.

How to enter

Send your photograph(s) to animationilcf@univ-catholyon.fr, along with the following for each photo:

  • a title in French;
  • a short description of 2 to 5 lines in French, explaining your choice and what the photograph represents to you;
  • the date the photo was taken;
  • your completed entry form.

Submission deadline: 13 November 2026.

A few things to check before submitting

Photographs must be submitted in JPEG format (.jpg or .jpeg), in portrait or landscape orientation, with a recommended minimum resolution of 3,000 pixels on the longest side.

They must be clear and must contain no watermark, frame or added text. Photographs must be original works created by the participant: images entirely generated by artificial intelligence are not accepted.

If a person is clearly identifiable in your photograph, their written consent is required. For any identifiable minor, written consent from their legal representative is required.

Prizes to be won

Three prizes will be awarded:

🥇 1st prize: dinner for two at a restaurant
🥈 2nd prize: a Pathé cinema pass for 5 tickets
🥉 3rd prize: a prize offered by Mission Culture

What happens next?

Photographs accepted into the competition will be put to a vote by UCLy students and staff and reviewed by a jury.

Selected photographs may also be printed on aluminium Dibond panels and displayed in La Bulle and other ILCF spaces on the Carnot Campus.
