Learn French in the evening at ILCF
ILCF offers evening French as a Foreign Language classes for anyone looking to improve their French through a program that fits around their schedule.
Open to everyone, these classes help learners become more confident and independent when using French in everyday situations, while exploring a range of cultural and social topics.
Classes are organised by level, from beginner to C1. Before the program begins, each learner takes a placement test so they can join a group suited to their current level of French.
The program includes 30 hours of classes per semester over 10 weeks, with two weekly sessions of 1 hour 30 minutes, held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
This program is also available to professionals upon request.

French classes open to everyone
ILCF’s evening French as a Foreign Language classes are designed for anyone looking to improve their French through a structured and supportive learning program.
They help learners become more confident and independent when using French in everyday situations, while exploring a range of cultural and social topics.
Thanks to their evening schedule, the classes can be combined with work, studies or other personal commitments.
A schedule designed to fit around your commitments
Classes take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Each week, learners attend 3 hours of classes, divided into two 1.5-hour sessions.
The program runs for 10 weeks, providing a total of 30 hours of classes per semester.
Learners are placed in level-based groups, allowing everyone to progress in a learning environment suited to their language skills.
From beginner to C1 level
Evening classes are available for levels ranging from beginner to C1.
Before classes begin, each learner takes a placement test. This test assesses their current level of French and ensures that they join a group suited to their language skills.
Certificate of level
At the end of the program, each learner’s level is assessed. They then receive a certificate confirming their level: the CLCF, Certificate of French Language and Culture.
Autumn term 2026-2027
The autumn term runs from 5 October to 18 December 2026, excluding the holiday period from 24 October to 1 November inclusive.
Schedule
Classes take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Tuition fees
The tuition fee for the evening classes is €450 per semester.
This rate is available to students only.
