Program content:
Organized by level groups, students are immersed in French throughout this bridge course designed to prepare them for their future academic year.
The program includes: language lab classes for personalized work on oral skills, a cultural project course to learn how to work as a team around a cultural theme, and a general French course to strengthen students’ French level.

Assessment methods:
1 written skills grade and 1 oral skills grade
ECTS credit equivalence: 4
Placement test:
Before the beginning of each session, a compulsory placement test assessing written and oral skills is organized to place students into homogeneous level groups.

Our cultural activities department supports students throughout their stay with a tailor-made program of activities adapted to the duration and type of course attended.
Language exchange meetings with French students, activities on campus, cultural visits, trips, workshops and tasting sessions: a wide range of activities is organised every month to encourage the discovery of French culture, social interaction and the practice of French in authentic and friendly situations.
These activities are an integral part of the ILCF experience and allow students to discover Lyon and its region while developing their language skills in a real-life environment.
