Experience French beyond the classroom
At ILCF Lyon, learning French continues well beyond the classroom.
Throughout the year, our Cultural Activities Office offers activity programs tailored to the academic calendar and the key moments of student life across UCLy’s campuses.
Visits, excursions, gastronomy, heritage, Lyon’s cultural events, and intercultural encounters: every activity is an opportunity to discover Lyon, explore French culture, and practice French in a different way.

A cultural immersion every day
The Cultural Activities Office supports students throughout their stay at ILCF and plays a key role in their experience in France.
Present across UCLy’s campuses, the Cultural Activities Team helps international students discover student life in Lyon. It creates connections between ILCF learners, campus events, and the many initiatives organized throughout the university during the year.
Explore Lyon and its surroundings
Studying at ILCF also means discovering the cultural and historical richness of Lyon and its region.
Each semester, students can enjoy a varied program including guided tours, excursions, tastings, cultural events, and visits to iconic locations.
Annecy, Pérouges, the Musée des Confluences, Les Halles Paul Bocuse, the Festival of Lights, and the landscapes of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region are just some of the many experiences available throughout the year.

Take part in cultural activities
All useful information regarding registration, participation procedures, and the organization of cultural activities is communicated to students throughout the year via activity programs, social media channels, and information shared at ILCF.
The team also remains available to support students and answer any questions before activities take place.
