These courses are for international students, adults, technicians, researchers... of all levels in French language who want:
- to obtain and develop oral and written abilities in French
- and/or to prepare for the DELF and the DALF exams.
Levels
The ILCF welcomes students in groups corresponding to their level:
Complete beginner > A1 Breakthrough > A2 Waystage > B1 Threshold > B2 Vantage > C1 Effective Operational Proficiency > C2 Mastery
Teaching methodsCourses are conceived to develop oral and written expression and comprehension abilities. The goal is an effective autonomy in using French by learning grammar, vocabulary and particularities of French culture. Diverse language activities are offered including exercise workbooks and original documents (press, advertising, comics, literature...) and videos. Courses require the active participation of students.
Organization
The summer intensive program is composed of 20 hours per week. Courses take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the morning and/or in the afternoon. On Wednesdays, there are cultural activities an field trips. Some of these activities are also organized in the evening.
- For Initiation to B1 levels, this program is composed of 20 hours of course of French language and culture.
- For B2 to C2 levels, this program is composed of 16 hours of language instruction plus an additional 4 hours of workshops on French civilization.
Duration
80 hours in 4 weeks and in 1 month: July, August or September
160 hours in 8 weeks and in 2 months: July, August and/or September
240 hours in 12 weeks and in 3 months: July, August and September

Level test On the first day of each session, we organize a mandatory test to evaluate your written and oral proficiency in French so that we can place you in the appropriate level group.
Diplomas
A CLCF (French Language and Culture Certificate) corresponding to your language level is provided at the end of the program. The Insitute also offers the opportunity to pass the following exams according to the exams timetable: DELF, DALF, TCF, during your studies in the ILCF.

Proof of enrolmentIn the beginning of the program and after completion of the registration, we provide students with the proof of enrolment and a student identification card.
