How do I pre-enroll ?
- Send the post mail pre-enrolment form for or fill out the on line pre-enrolment form.
- Send the corresponding deposit for the course(s) or session you chose (fax, email).
How much do I have to pay for my tuition ?
Cost of the course or session
- deposit already paid
= total due
Example : 1265 € - 366 € = 899 €
Which visa do I need before leaving my country?
- A student visa "long stay" for the semester and year enrollment. Without this I cannot renew a visa nor prolong my stay in France.
- A visa "short stay" for the monthly and summer sessions enrollment (that do not surpass three months). This is unnecessary for the members of the European Union.

What are the formalities when entering in France ?
As soon as possible when I arrive, I give the documents indicated in the Admission page to the secretary of the ILCF who will transfer my file to the Prefecture to obtain my resident card (only if I stay more than three months).

Which medical insurance do I need when I arrive in France ?
- International insurance established on the basis of my stay.
- Inscription to the Social Student Insurance for people under 28 years old.
- For students belonging to the European Community, the CEAM card and the "E128" application.
Which opportunities do I have when enrolled ?
- the student status
- the possibility to be candidate for a student job depending on the authorization of French administration (DDTE),
- a student card from the Catholic University of Lyon (Semester Programs only),
- if I find one, the possibility to have an internship in a firm,
- an e-mail address,
- an Internet connection either in a computer room or by Wi-Fi connection,
- the possiblity to borrow books from the University library (extra fees),
- the possibility to do sports thanks to the Sports Office (extra fees).
How to organize my schedule when I'm an au pair or when I've got a job ?
The schedules can be worked out with the secretary whenever it's possible.
How to certify my knowledge of the French Language ?
The courses of the ILCF Lyon give direct exchange credit (ECTS).
- The courses of the ILCF Lyon give the opportunity to study within the Catholic University of Lyon.
- The National Education exams (TCF, DELF, DALF) allow one to obtain diplomas recognized nationally and internationally.
- The exams of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris allow one to obtain diplomas recognized in the professional world.

How to get to the ILCF Lyon and to the Catholic University of Lyon (Bellecour campus) ?
The ILCF Lyon is downtown and can be reached by subway (Bellecour, lines A and D) or by bus (Satobus) from the International Airport Lyon Saint-Exupéry.
- From Part-Dieu Railway Station : take suway line B direction "Stade de Gerland". Then take line D at "Saxe-Gambetta" station direction "Gare de Vaise" and exit at "Bellecour " station.
- From Perrache Railway Station: take subway line A direction "Laurent Bonnevay" then exit two stations after at "Bellecour" station.
